There are two sides to everything

Literaly just a fish with legs in a top hat riding a unicycle.

There are two sides to everything

far away in a city unknown

a man walked

in the busy yet lifeless street

towards a destination unknown

on a path yet to be found

followed by a past long since forgotten

unnoticed by an ocean of passersby

he stumbled on

his clothes sewn together from old discarded rags

his face covered with the scars of time

his mind a worried mess

of how he was going to lay food on the table that evening

Walking on the path he took every day

a path he never seemed to notice

but

today was different

happeningly he looked down

and his eyes were met with a single blade of grass

gaping for air in a crack in the pavement

a solitary life amongst a sea of death

He kneeled down on his filthy knees

And for the first time in years

His eyes were full of joy

That evening he walked home

towards a destination unknown

on a path yet to be found

followed by a past long since forgotten

and with his soul leaping with joy
